About The Position

Now hiring experienced Machine Operators including Screening/Stranding Operators; and/or Jacketing Operators; and/or Take-Up Operators; and/or as Wire Technicians to work for our Cable-Manufacturing facility in Milton, FL. Must have the willingness to learn the company's process. Previous experience as a Machine Operator is required, but it does not have to be on this specific machinery. Any experience with wire drawing or spool reels is a plus. Our company is fast expanding, future looking, and a continuous innovator across the energy market. We provides integral components for solar and wind farm development as well as electrical cabling for key industrial markets including the Oil & Gas, Communications and Irrigation markets. Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Must have Steel-toed boots.
  • Must have RELIABLE transportation to Milton FL.
  • Must complete a pre-employment background check (having something on your record does NOT eliminate you from this position, we take everything on an individual "case-by-case" basis)

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year as a manufacturing Machine Operator (or as a CNC Operator) is preferred but NOT required.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing/machining environment is preferred but NOT required.
  • High school Diploma (or equivalent) is preferred but NOT required.
  • Any experience with wire drawing or spool reels is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate the various machinery that is used in our cable manufacturing facility.
  • Read/interpret/understand blueprints and/or drawings (including symbols, material type, and material shape).
  • Setting up the screening and/or stranding machines independently from a selection of tooling options: set-up, pay-off, take-up; setting running parameters; consistently monitor the QUALITY of product.
  • Familiar with using/operating electronic screens for controlling the screening or stranding process (Human Machine Interface).
  • Good mechanical skills with the ability to handle and move heavy reels of products.
  • Must maintain a consistent log of production AND quality per company systems & standards.
  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to company safety procedures and policies.
