About The Position

We are looking for a talented Machine Safety Engineer – Manufacturing to join
our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins location York, SC.  

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:  

Safety Leadership: Ensure all manufacturing processes meet rigorous safety
requirements, protecting employees and maintaining compliance. 
Goal Achievement: Drive projects that align with and deliver on
manufacturing, business, and product performance goals. 
Process Optimization: Apply advanced manufacturing principles to improve
equipment efficiency, reliability, and overall process effectiveness. 
Continuous Improvement: Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other tools to reduce
waste, enhance quality, and streamline operations. 
Standards Development: Lead the creation and implementation of manufacturing
standards and working methods consistent with Cummins’ global practices. 
Stakeholder Influence: Communicate effectively and build trust with external
stakeholders, business leaders, and cross functional teams to secure
alignment. 
Resource Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external partners to
maximize project outcomes and deliver cost effective solutions. 
Coaching & Relationships: Maintain strong relationships and coach key
stakeholders, fostering growth, accountability, and a culture of excellence.
