About The Position

What we are looking for: The Machinist I is responsible for maintaining company equipment, facilities, and assisting Machinist II with tooling requirements. Technicians will maintain the equipment and facility through preventative maintenance (PM), root cause analysis, utilization of both internal and external resources, and follow through. The incumbent will troubleshoot, test, and diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment and malfunctioning machinery in addition to operating a variety of machining equipment. What you will do: Machinist Operates a variety of machining equipment, including but not limited to: Mills, Lathes, Saws, Measurement Devices, Grinders, and hand tools. Produces parts as per specifications, maintains tolerances and finishes appropriately. Works with Manufactor Engineer for guidance on machining requests to ensure understanding and expectations. Assist with planning stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available. Tests and diagnoses malfunctioning machinery and collaborates with Manufacturer Engineer and other maintenance technicians to develop and install proper repairs. Maintenance Technician Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical manufacturing equipment issues using control knowledge, including programmable logic controllers (PLC) and three-phase. Methodically works through equipment/process issues to identify root cause of failure. Documents work performed and updates maintenance work order system. Tests and diagnoses malfunctioning machinery and collaborate with other maintenance technicians to develop and install proper repairs. Performs Preventive Maintenance (PM) per manufacturing specifications and schedules. Coordinates with maintenance team members on each shift to understand status of work orders and priorities. Diagnoses and replaces faulty electrical machine components such as relays, switches and motors and positions sensing devices, using machine schematics or PLC devices. Assists with maintaining daily operation of Reverse Osmosis (RO) water system. Maintains inventory of spare parts for the equipment and facility. Replaces air conditioner filters, damaged ceiling tiles, floor tiles and wall coverings. Who you are: High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1-3 years related experience. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
