About The Position

The Mail Clerk receives, sorts, and delivers mail to different departments. Responsibilities include operating mail room equipment, preparing and posting outgoing mail in compliance with all postal regulations, and other mail services related duties. This is an On-site position in Franklin, TN.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED required
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic knowledge of general office procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team environment
  • Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to operate a company vehicle or be insured on a Company Policy
  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years mail room experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Sorts mail /packages, and delivers to the appropriate departments (USPS, FedEx, UPS).
  • Operates postage machines and processes all outgoing USPS mail.
  • Researches purchase orders and tracks internal package deliveries.
  • Escorts corporate vendors.
  • Operates a courier van to pick up and transport parcels, packages, and other deliverables between corporate locations and local USPS post offices.
  • Maintains and purchases office supplies.
  • Maintains inventory for all first aid kits.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
