Facility Mailroom Driver – JLL What this job involves: The Facility Mailroom Driver plays a vital role in keeping JLL's facilities connected and operations running smoothly. This position ensures the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of mail, packages, and critical interoffice materials across multiple building locations. As the link between departments and facilities, you'll maintain the flow of essential communications and materials while upholding JLL's standards of professionalism, reliability, and client service excellence. Your work directly supports our teams in delivering exceptional facility management services to our clients. What your day-to-day will look like: Operating company vehicles to deliver and collect mail, parcels, and documents along assigned routes and facility locations while maintaining safe driving practices and adherence to traffic regulations. Loading, unloading, and securing all items with care to prevent loss or damage, ensuring accurate delivery to intended recipients across multiple buildings and departments. Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and organization while performing basic daily inspections including fuel levels, tire pressure, and overall vehicle condition to ensure operational readiness. Managing delivery schedules efficiently while remaining flexible to accommodate priority requests, time-sensitive materials, and unexpected route changes throughout the workday. Serving as a professional point of contact for employees regarding delivery status, special transport needs, and mailroom services while maintaining courteous and responsive communication. Communicating proactively with supervisors and relevant departments about delays, discrepancies, package issues, or concerns that require attention or resolution. Handling all materials with appropriate confidentiality and security awareness, especially when transporting sensitive documents or packages between departments.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to maintain insurability under company vehicle policy.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, with frequent bending, walking, and standing throughout shifts.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively and maintaining accountability for assigned routes and responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with ability to track multiple deliveries, verify recipient information, and maintain accurate delivery records.
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality with consistent ability to complete scheduled routes on time while adapting to changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational credential.
  • One to two years of experience in delivery, driving, logistics, courier services, or similar operational transportation roles.
  • Familiarity with facility operations, mailroom procedures, or corporate campus environments.
  • Basic knowledge of local geography and efficient route planning within the service area.
  • Experience using delivery tracking systems, handheld devices, or route management applications.
  • Customer service experience with demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and resolve basic inquiries or concerns.
