Position Overview Opens, sorts, and prepares mail for scanning Scans mail Forwards misdirected mail to the appropriate entity Conducts quality control reviews Prepares and retains daily reports Prepares documents for mailing Participates in special projects

Requirements

  • Knowledge of: Policies and procedures involved in SDU payment processing
  • Child support policies related to payment processing
  • SMI systems
  • Modern office practices, procedures, and equipment
  • Ability to: Pay attention to detail
  • Work independently with little direction and as a team member
  • Meet stringent schedules and timelines
  • Work successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Work flexible schedules and overtime hours, as necessary
  • Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and one-year prior experience in a mail center, document imaging. or other related field or An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the work

Responsibilities

  • Opens, sorts, and prepares mail for scanning
  • Scans mail
  • Forwards misdirected mail to the appropriate entity
  • Conducts quality control reviews
  • Prepares and retains daily reports
  • Prepares documents for mailing
  • Participates in special projects
