GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Positions in this title work under general supervision and perform various painting duties, and other minor maintenance assignments in and around the Museum envelope and satellite locations.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in the trade
Knowledge of paints, stains and finishes as well as mixing custom colors
Able to use paint mixers, shakers and various equipment
Marbelizing and the use of spray equipment
The ability to operate rigs and other tools of the trade
High School Diploma or GED requirement

Responsibilities

Painting as required throughout the Museum
Repair work as needed which includes spackling, taping and plastering
Minor sheet rock/wall repair.
Wood staining and stripping
Other related duties
