About The Position

The Rallye Motor Company, Long Island's premier luxury automotive group, has an immediate opportunity for a Maintenance Assistant role with Mercedes-Benz! Seeking energetic, reliable and motivated individuals with general building maintenance experience to join our winning team! The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term position where they can utilize their handy-man skills to engage with an outstanding team with a proven track record of success! Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Examine the facility to identify necessary repair or maintenance items that may not be included in the work schedule, and communicate to the Lead Maintenance Tech. Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain needed supplies. Understand and follow Federal, State and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes. Assist in snow removal as needed. Conduct a daily walk around to locate any problem areas. Report to management any major improvements needed. Repair any minor problems found. RATE OF PAY: $22.00 Per Hour

Requirements

• Clean and valid driver's license.
• Proven experience in general maintenance and handyman work.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and organization skills
• Good facility analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience maintaining a large facility a plus.
