About The Position

A Part 135 Maintenance Controller is responsible for overseeing the airworthiness and maintenance status of company aircraft to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, and operational requirements. The Maintenance Controller coordinates with maintenance personnel, flight crews, vendors, and operations to ensure aircraft are maintained in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license and successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen and background check.
  • Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience (corporate or charter aviation preferred).
  • Certificated Airframe and Powerplant preferred
  • Working knowledge of FAA Part 135 operations and maintenance requirements.
  • Experience with aircraft maintenance tracking systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical decision-making skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple aircraft maintenance events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Previous Maintenance Control experience in a Part 135 environment.
  • Experience working with turbine aircraft.
  • Familiarity with CAMP, Corridor, or similar maintenance tracking software.
  • Experience coordinating AOG response and vendor management.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor aircraft airworthiness status for Part 135 fleet.
  • Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations including 14 CFR Part 135, Part 91, and Part 43.
  • Review aircraft logbooks and maintenance records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Track inspections, airworthiness directives (ADs), service bulletins (SBs), and life-limited components.
  • Coordinate AOG (Aircraft on Ground) events and arrange repair solutions.
  • Communicate aircraft status updates to operations, dispatch, and leadership.
  • Authorize maintenance actions in accordance with company GMM and Ops Specs.
  • Coordinate with Part 145 repair stations, vendors, and OEM service centers.
  • Assist with troubleshooting technical discrepancies reported by flight crews.
  • Maintain accurate aircraft maintenance tracking systems and digital records.
  • Support reliability programs and analyze maintenance trends.
  • Ensure all work orders, log entries, and return-to-service documentation are completed properly prior to aircraft departure.
  • Support maintenance planning to minimize operational downtime.
