Requirements

  • City and State Journeyman electrical license required.
  • Five years of electrical experience.
  • Familiar with all electrical codes and city, state and federal regulations in relation to installations and permitting.
  • Working knowledge of installation, service, switch gear and transformers.
  • Ability to work on 24 Volt to 600 Volt equipment.
  • Ability to repair electrical controls for HVAC units, heating units, and boilers.
  • Working knowledge of how to repair pumps and motors.
  • Knowledge of life system safety requirements for industrial facilities.
  • General knowledge of building construction and materials.
  • Able to read and understand blue prints, electrical schematics and single line drawings.
  • Able to work with a computerized maintenance management system.
  • Ability to work on various industrial equipment as needed by management.
  • Understanding of HVAC and have a current CFC license.
  • Basic DDC Working knowledge of EPA and OSHA
  • Familiar with air handlers and condensers
  • Understand VFD’s, fire systems, computers, control valves, switches, piping controls/RTU’s
  • Able to work all shifts including weekends
  • Able to lift over 50 pounds and be able to push, pull, stoop, reach, stand and walk during most of the shift.
  • Own your own tools and have knowledge of power tools.

Responsibilities

  • Be able to do mechanical work as needed.
  • Operate and maintain electrical systems, mechanical equipment such as central refrigeration, steam boilers and air conditioning systems.
  • Work with outside vendors as needed.
  • Attend required training.
  • Perform tasks as assigned by supervision.
