About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain a company License
• Must be able to understand and agree to follow safety Rule (Ie. Lockout/Tagout).
• Must Comply with all DOT, OSHA, and Tyson Rules, regulations, Standards, and policy.
• Must be able to work in all-weather/ climate, conditions from very cold to very hot.
• Must be able to work in a dusty environment
• Standing, Walking, Bending, stretching, twisting, turning, climbing, push, pulling, stooping, squatting, and reaching are required in all areas.
• Lifting 40+ pounds are required in all areas
• Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders
• The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance
• This position will operate fork lifts as well as other duties.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must have 1 year of industrial maintenance work experience documented in the work history section of the application.
• 180 days wait period from last termination date, 3X rule (candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before)
