About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Maintenance Generalist must possess a minimum of 6 months of mechanic work/experience and/or education documented in the work/education history section of the application (can be a combination of employer(s)/education, if equals at least 6 months. Maintenance Scale Tech must possess a minimum of 6 months of electronic maintenance work/experience and/or education documented in the work/education history section of the application (can be a combination of employer(s)/education, if it equals at least 6 months. 6 months of verifiable maintenance experience and/or education Must have basic computer knowledge/skills Knowledge and ability to work with 480 volt 3 phase electricity Experience with pneumatics, hydraulic, electrical automated process control system, PLC operations, inverters, and basic electricity Must possess mechanical skills Must perform pm task on equipment daily and weekly Must perform trouble shooting activities daily Must be proactive in reducing downtime on all mechanical equipment Ability to weld using appropriate tools accordingly Must be willing to travel for advanced training classes Must have good trouble shooting skills Must be dependable and responsible Must be Safety Oriented(learning and following Core Safety mandates Must be willing to work 5-6 days a week with overtime Must be willing to stoop, bend, climb ladders and work overhead Must be flexible to work in cold and or hot temperatures Must be cooperative and follow instruction carefully Must be willing to lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements
