About The Position

The Maintenance Generalist MG06 is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets while ensuring a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson Foods' policies and procedures. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• Minimum of six months of work experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, or equivalent Training.
• One year of electrical experience noted on application or resume.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a PIT Certification.
• Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
• Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in agriculture milting maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble equipment as required.
• Operate and maintain mobile equipment, pneumatic systems, and circuit components.
• Perform welding, oxygen cutting, plasma cutting, torch cutting, and electrical circuit repair.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safety.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on alt equipment
• Perform physical tasks such as climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs multiple times monthly.
• Work in varying temperature conditions (hot and cold).
• Be available for overtime and weekend work as needed.
• Follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Work safely at heights
