About The Position

Steamboat Association Management has a unique opportunity to fill the role of Landscape Manager. Work in beautiful Steamboat Springs, CO where no day is the same day! You will use your skills and work with a close team of local maintenance landscaping professionals to help us maintain our properties. $30-36/hr DOE (annual $62,400 - $74,880 equivalent) The Landscape Maintenance Manager is responsible for scheduling and managing daily operations, supervising crews, maintaining quality standards, and identifying opportunities to expand services through client needs and property evaluations.  Implements and oversees a training program for the landscaping department to ensure all staff members have a level of competency consistent with the duties we perform. Requirements

  • 4 years or more in landscape operations in supervisor or manager role with a strong knowledge of commercial and residential landscape maintenance practices
  • Bilingual: Spanish and English (required)
  • Self-motivated individually and able to manage a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Able to handle pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Valid driver’s license and a driving record compliant with our insurance requirements
  • Minimum of one-year direct supervision or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • Basic computer skills are required. Use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word are preferred.
