Thanks for your commitment to Tyson Foods. Management Level: Class 9 Applicants will be considered for Maintenance Lead person openings. The Maintenance Lead person will assist the supervisor in all maintenance activities on the plant site including an effective Preventive Maintenance program, repairs to equipment, and the ability to trouble shoot all plant equipment with the minimum possible downtime occurring. The Maintenance Lead person will assist in the training of new Team Members and bid trainees. The Maintenance Lead person will communicate effectively in all areas of communication; verbal, written and reading; in order to give verbal feedback to supervisors, other departments and co-workers; compiling paperwork at the end of the day; comprehending manuals, diagrams, work orders, etc. that will assist in the day to day operations. The successful candidate(s)must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting and reaching are required. These positions will work in extremely hot, humid or extremely cold environments, both inside and outside the plant. Requirements Team Member must be dependable, work well with others, self-motivated and willing to come in early and stay late, when necessary. Current Maintenance Team members will be given first consideration; must have completed at least Level 6 training in the Tyson Maintenance Level training program. Internal applicants must have a good work record: no disciplines greater than one written warning within the last 12 months and 5 or less attendance points at the time of the posting. This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
