This is a working position; you will be required to work closely with the general labor team as well as with the office staff. Duties include but are not limited to, executing daily planning of inbound and outbound loads. Managing workforce as needed and making changes where applicable. Meeting daily production goals. Unloading and loading tires. Keeping accurate count of tires processed. General maintenance duties. Maintain safety standards by having daily safety meetings and notifying management of any safety violations. Operate equipment as needed, such as a skid steer or forklift. This position works from 7:15am to 4:00pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed

Requirements

  • Industrial Maintenance experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Proven success delivering results through people.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical mechanical issues
  • Mechanical Aptitude is a must
  • Physical strength, manual dexterity, and extensive experience with hand tools are required.
  • Have a Strong Mechanical and Welding Fabrication background.
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Minimum 1 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing /industrial environment.
  • Basic standard tool set

Nice To Haves

  • Welding experience preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred not required

Responsibilities

  • Repair and PM industrial equipment
  • Inspect and communicate condition for machinery per PM
  • Skid steer or forklift experience
  • Adhere to Health & Safety compliance in accordance with company policy
  • Inventory tool supply and maintain shop cleanness
  • Provide leadership to machine operators as needed
  • Metal fabrication using cutting torch, welder, and other power tools
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA procedures and practices
  • Complete paperwork on work orders and PM checklists recording all repairs and any parts used
  • Perform safety inspections on machine guarding, fire prevention equipment, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
