About The Position

Maintenance ManagerKeep Our Facility Safe, Functional, and Looking Its Best Colville Health and Rehab is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead the daily operation, safety, and appearance of our facility. This role is critical to ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for residents, families, staff, and visitors. Requirements

  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and plant equipment operations
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Understanding of OSHA and workplace safety requirements
  • Proven ability to lead, direct, and motivate a maintenance team
  • Strong communication skills with residents, families, vendors, and all levels of staff
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Graduation from an appropriate technical/trade school preferred.
  • Current valid driver’s license from the State in which the facility operates.
  • Five years of experience in building maintenance.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • At least one year of long-term care facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and participate in daily maintenance operations for the facility and grounds
  • Perform routine maintenance and hands-on repair projects
  • Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors when specialized repairs are required
  • Direct maintenance of utility systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, gas, air) to ensure uninterrupted operations
  • Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs
  • Prepare and manage the maintenance department budget
  • Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies to support operations
  • Recommend improvements to equipment performance, safety, and efficiency
  • Ensure the facility and grounds are clean, attractive, and well maintained
  • Participate in facility process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with fire life safety standards and water regulations
  • Supervise Maintenance Assistant(s), where applicable
  • Maintain punctual and reliable attendance for assigned shifts
