About The Position

As the largest nonprofit affordable housing provider in the nation, we build, preserve, and manage program-enriched housing across the country. The Maintenance Manager will work in collaboration with property management to oversee building maintenance functions, budget, and vendor contracts for Clare Gardens, a 128-unit affordable property for area families in Denver, CO. This is an on-site position. Pay: $27.00-29.00/hour, dependent on experience. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of experience in skilled maintenance work.
  • Technical expertise in one or more building trade.

  • Perform basic math and understand measurement systems used in the trade.

  • Draft make working sketches.
  • Use maintenance, trade, and testing equipment and tools.
  • Effectively oversee work progress of vendors or outside contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Patch and paint walls, trim, and ceilings.
  • Clean, repair, and maintain appliances.
  • Prepare units for new residents, including completing necessary turnover work.
  • Perform routine plumbing and electrical repairs.
  • Manage day-to-day maintenance functions.
  • Assist with maintenance budget oversight.
  • Coordinate and manage vendor contracts in collaboration with the property management team.
