We are looking for a Maintenance Technician for our Glass department. This position will be based at our Union City, TN location, where we specialize in manufacturing high-quality shower glass doors.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.
  • Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, including bending, lifting, and pushing weights of lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
  • Screening: Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
  • Reliability: Consistent attendance and work performance.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred; Associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency in reading hydraulic and electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with CMMS platforms (SAP) and maintenance documentation.
  • Ability to work in hot, noisy, and physically demanding environments.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and respond to emergency calls.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical maintenance on aluminum extrusion equipment including extruders, pullers, ovens, and saws.
  • Perform pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical maintenance on glass fabrication equipment such as drills, mills, grinding equipment, and tempering furnaces.
  • Perform hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical maintenance on metal fabrication equipment including pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical punch presses, as well as cut-off saws.
  • Identify and replace faulty components within automated and non-automated control systems, including PLCs, VFD/servo drives, motors, HMIs, sensors, valves, and pumps.
  • Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance using CMMS tools.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and industry-specific safety standards.
  • Mentor junior maintenance technicians and support technical training programs.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
