Requirements

Five years of previous Industrial Maintenance experience.
Certified Maintenance Apprenticeship Program or Mechanical Institute Certificate.
Ability to read, interpret and understand technical documents/manuals and CAD drawings of plant equipment.
Proven experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in manufacturing.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems.
Knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment.
Basic fabrication, pipe fitting (compressed air, water)
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to prepare reports and document procedures
Working knowledge of the National Electric Code.

Nice To Haves

HVAC or Electrical experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance activities, such as cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, and aligning machine parts.
Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, building and other systems to reduce downtime.
Perform failure analysis on equipment, diagnosing the root cause of issues and implementing corrective actions.
Replaces faulty electrical components of machine, such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices, using hand tools.
Work with various voltages including 480V, 240V and 120V. This includes single and 3 phase circuits.
Order and install replacement parts as needed.
Evaluate equipment and systems to identify areas for improvement and recommend upgrades to enhance performance.
Work in confined spaces, or elevated platforms, ladders, and roofs.
Document maintenance procedures and modifications through detailed technical reports.
Accurately maintain records and reports as required through CMMs.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Promote and utilize 6-S standards for the line to improve efficiency, cleanliness and safety.
