About The Position

Bongards is looking for an energetic, motivated and dedicated individual to join
our maintenance team.

Requirements

• Must have previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting or production environment.
• Able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hi-speed manufacturing and production equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally
• May spend long periods of time standing.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Dismantles and reassembles defective machines and equipment. Installs new or repaired parts.
• Assembles, installs, or repairs pipe systems for hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Records repairs made and maintains inventory guidelines.
• Cleans, lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery.
• Performs preventative maintenance checks as scheduled.
• Must report all Food Safety and quality concerns to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement.
• Must follow all GMP’s and Safety guidelines.
• All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead person.
