Our seasonal part-time Painters at The Henry Ford are responsible for helping keep our campus beautiful. We maintain all indoor and outdoor non-historic painted surfaces, which includes the museum, education buildings, theater and Greenfield Village. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our mission while enjoying our one-of-a-kind environment. Requirements

18 years of age or older
Valid drivers’ license
This is a physical position that requires frequent standing and walking and occasional lifting. Must be able to work outdoors on ladders or scaffolding, in all types of conditions and in non-air-conditioned interiors.

Nice To Haves

General knowledge of painting techniques and tools preferred

Responsibilities

Prepares surfaces for painting
Paints exterior and interior surfaces using brushes, rollers or spray guns
Acts as a team player and provides expertise within team and with other teams as appropriate
Contributes to the effective team management of all problems, issues and opportunities
Performs other duties as assigned
