About The Position

Arthrex is actively searching for a Maintenance Planner I at our Ave Maria, FL, manufacturing facility. This position serves as the liaison between maintenance, engineering & operations to identify and correct maintenance processes, ensuring all maintenance work is planned, scheduled, and completed with appropriate resources in accordance with area prioritization requirements and production schedules, and that work is done according to established Maintenance and Quality standards. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree preferred.
  • 3 years of Maintenance/Planning/Inventory Control experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience with scheduling software gained from within a manufacturing or processing facility.
  • Ability to work well with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.
  • Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.
  • Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP and Documentum preferred.
  • Previous experience with manual, NC and CNC controlled equipment.
  • Understanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to master all Maintenance Planner Associate responsibilities.
  • Supports the execution of maintenance work by receiving, planning, estimating, scheduling and recording required maintenance data.
  • Develops routine and complicated maintenance schedules to ensure efficient completion of work orders.
  • Coordinates with departments to ensure the availability of equipment and systems.
  • Works with Maintenance techs to ensure thorough PM creation.
  • Creates necessary additional PM documentation as needed.
  • Coordinates transportation and rigging for new and used equipment.
  • Aids Maintenance teams in troubleshooting system concerns when they arise.
  • Supports Maintenance teams with audit requests.
