That expertise allows you to lead the planning, process development and implementation of Planned Maintenance Elements in a Continuous Improvement manufacturing environment. You will manage this through teams consisting of various technical and non-technical personnel, key support contractors and operations personnel. How you will contribute You will: Partner & Enable the line leader(s) to deliver the SQCDSM targets-Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability & Morale for the lines, to ensure Process stability; Participates in the DMS- Daily Management systems meetings at the shift and line level Own the technology and process and centerline settings for the equipment and process and have deep technical mastery of the process and equipment; Owns the PM-Progressive maintenance systems and work processes and the PM-Progressive Maintenance Key Performance Indicators for the line/s along with Centerline Management systems; owns the R&M-Repairs & Maintenance budget of the line Develop, own and execute the line/s preventive and time-based maintenance systems and plans and build capability of the team to execute themselves; Build (spends at least 50% of time) technical and maintenance skills of the technicians working in the shifts, so that they are able to operate and maintain their equipment themselves; be part of the PM Pillar, own all PM systems and work process at the line level and lead some of them at the department level Partner with the Asset and Reliability team for system improvement and execution of special maintenance tasks; be responsible for Change Management on the line/s, localization of spares and proper break-down analysis and R&M cost reduction for the line/s; Represents the department/line/s as the site technology owner in the regional and global technology forums Assist in VSU for the new initiatives and enable the VSU team; Help the line leader in internal and external benchmarking and reapplication; be the subject matter expert on one of the component categories and be a trainer of PM related subjects for the plant What you will bring A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: Agility over Perfection. More about this role Job specific requirements: Ensures personal safety, food safety, and quality protocols are followed. Ensures all required internal controls and financial protocols are followed. Compiles and provides reports related to areas of responsibility, effectively document required maintenance in an efficient and organized manner. Supports and develops specifications, standards, and codes for CMMS. Leads the maintenance planning and scheduling planning meetings with all the cross functional teams, providing the necessary data on planned work and required work. Assign necessary maintenance work orders (WO) to allow for the proper scheduling of work during planned & unplanned equipment downtime. Responsible for providing optimized maintenance plans and schedules for predictive, preventive, routine, scheduled, and emergency maintenance services to optimize equipment operation . Leads the implementation of the required systems to enhance the maintenance system by following the guidelines of our integrated lean six sigma (IL6S) program. Completes the required assessments for the planned work to be completed to the correct standard and expectation. Consults with requester and all the required functions, as necessary. Creates and maintains the maintenance work backlog, from all sources of data by raising work orders for all equipment defects that are identified and reported. Ability to identify and obtain necessary materials, work instructions, manuals, appropriate tools, spare part lists required to execute planned work orders. Confirms that proper materials, tools, and parts are kitted and staged before jobs are scheduled. Maintains, communicates, and drives actions based on key activity indicators (KAIs) as well as key performance indicators (KPI) as assigned. Assists in reviewing predictive maintenance data to determine component life and change out frequencies. Supports the request and purchase order process for maintenance services, parts, repairs, and other goods and services as needed. Works closely with plant engineering and maintenance leadership teams to ensure that necessary planned and unplanned parts are available for facility maintenance activities.
