Under general supervision, to repair/maintain water, sewer and gas lines in resident manors, community facilities and outside buildings. To perform related work as required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Drains and replaces water heater tanks, changes electric heater elements and rewires to junction boxes to test electric current with an ohms meter. Operates sewer line cleaning equipment to unclog stoppages. Is capable of basic plumbing repairs and assisting more experienced plumbers with more complicated tasks. Drives a truck and maintains a truck inventory of materials and supplies. Regular attendance required. All duties performed on-site for Community. Maintains job time, material records and assists other building maintenance crews during peak workloads as assigned.
