SUMMARY: This is a working manager position with supervisory responsibilities. Supervises the maintenance staff and the repair of equipment, the physical building structures, and the grounds. Oversee the effectiveness of the janitorial services. Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs of vehicles. Oversee the water and sewage systems serving Key Training Center. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Inspects daily and performs incidental repairs, as needed, to all properties encompassed or operated by CCARC, Inc. and Its Affiliates. Develops detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocations. Oversee and delegates job assignments to maintenance personnel. Serves as the primary point of contact for vendors. Manages consumable supplies used at Key Training Center, including ordering, storage, and dispensing functions. Completes documentation required for billing purposes/ requisition procedures. Review with the Program Director maintenance request forms and weekly reports. Initiates, when necessary, special maintenance or repair/replacement proposals for the Executive Director or Maintenance Director. Inspect, as necessary, completed work projects for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards. Provides updates and summaries of projects that are completed or ongoing to the Maintenance Director. Maintains all equipment used in the daily operation of the Key Training Center, including repairs where applicable and/or referred to outside services when necessary. Ensures that all vehicles conform to the D.O.T. requirements and maintenance schedules. Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs of Key Training Center vehicles as needed. Maintains grounds of all properties encompassed or operated by CCARC, Inc. and its Affiliates, including mowing, landscaping, fertilizing, and related tasks. Assumes on-call responsibilities for emergency repair needs that arise after hours. A vehicle for work duties is provided for usage. Conduct, on a routine basis, fire safety and building safety inspections. Maintains an ongoing record of inspections and how deficiencies were corrected. Interprets company policies and/or directives and enforces fire safety and building safety codes. Complies with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as it relates to: Access to buildings, work sites, and services. Informs and sensitizes maintenance personnel. Modifies, as needed, existing buildings and ground facilities to assure an ongoing barrier-free environment. Ensures that the Maintenance Department is consistently represented at all Safety Committee Meetings. Performs other related functions as required or directed.
