About The Position

The Maintenance Scheduler coordinates and plans all maintenance activities for oilfield equipment. This includes managing preventative maintenance (PM) schedules, coordinating with field operations to pull equipment for service, and ensuring that parts and labor are available to complete repairs efficiently.

Requirements

  • Successfully passes all applicable general pre employment testing including but not limited to background check, pre employment drug screening, pre employment fit tests, pre employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
  • Employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.
  • Position requires in person, predictable attendance.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field is often preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
  • 3–5 years of experience in oilfield services, industrial maintenance planning or related relevant field required.
  • Strong understanding of oilfield equipment, including hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and high pressure piping.
  • Experience with CMMS software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and scheduling.
  • Ability to manage complex logistics, often involves moving heavy equipment from remote field locations back to a central shop.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to bridge the gap between technical mechanics and operational managers.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or specific CMMS training are highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain short term and long term maintenance schedules for a fleet of oilfield assets (e.g., frac pumps, blenders).
  • Create, assign, and track work orders within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Oracle.
  • Coordinate with shop supervisors, foremen and lead technicians to allocate labor and bay space for incoming equipment.
  • Work with the procurement team to ensure that long lead parts and consumables are on site before scheduled maintenance begins.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the maintenance department and field operations to minimize the impact of equipment downtime on active jobs.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry regulations (API, ASME) and company safety standards.
  • Generate reports on equipment reliability, maintenance backlogs, and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as "Mean Time Between Failures" (MTBF).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
