Maintenance Specialist Bring your passion to Texas Health So We Are Better + Together Work Location: Texas Health Arlington Memorial, 800 West Randol Mill Rd., Arlington, TX 76012 Work Hours: Full-Time; Monday – Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm Department Highlights: · Gain a sense of accomplishment by contributing in a teamwork environment. · Receive excellent mentorship, comprehensive training, and dedicated leadership resources. Provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support for hospital, hospital equipment, and hospital properties utilizing the computerized maintenance management system. Performs the duties of skill trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, general maintenance, mechanical, HVAC, and exterior maintenance as required. Provide technical support and general guidance to facility staff in the repair and operation of facility equipment, components, utilities, and the like. Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, education opportunities, and related training. Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent is Required.
3 years in a commercial or industrial environment Required.
DL – Driver’s License upon hire Required.
Proficient in the use of computerized systems for all aspects of job performance.
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
Ability to work effectively unsupervised and in teams.
Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Nice To Haves

1 year of Hospital Maintenance experience Preferred.
