The Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for leading all maintenance activities at the Air Products Texas City, TX facility, including the development and execution of maintenance programs, processes, and strategies designed to improve equipment integrity and plant reliability at the lowest sustainable cost. The facility includes a large Steam Methane Reformer hydrogen plant, an Air Separation Unit nitrogen plant, an Ammonia production plant, associated pipelines, steam turbine power generation, and supporting utilities. It is connected to the Air Products Gulf Coast Hydrogen Pipeline system and external providers for natural gas, water, and electrical power. The Ammonia assets are owned by Gulf Coast Ammonia and are operated and maintained by Air Products as part of the integrated facility. The Maintenance Superintendent leads a team that includes Maintenance Supervisors, Planners, Technicians, Materials Management, and administrative support personnel.
