About The Position

Dairy Farmers of America (DFA)—the nation’s largest dairy cooperative—is seeking a motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join our Green Bay team. This role is critical to leading our 3rd shift maintenance team and ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of production operations. SUMMARY Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor oversees Maintenance Technicians, assigns daily tasks, provides updates to the Maintenance Manager, supports cross‑functional teams with maintenance-related inquiries, and ensures all maintenance processes and procedures are properly followed.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Electromechanical Maintenance preferred
  • Prior lead or supervisory experience in a maintenance environment
  • Strong background in preventative maintenance systems
  • Proficiency with Windows-based systems, including Microsoft Office and maintenance work order software
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and safely operate a forklift (certification may be required)
  • Strong knowledge of motor control circuits, automated valves, and process controls
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to collaborate across teams
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, schematics, and work orders
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in standardized situations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize work

Responsibilities

  • Plan and supervise the preventative maintenance program
  • Request parts needed for PM and/or DM work
  • Close out Demand Maintenance (DM) work orders
  • Provide shift coverage as needed
  • Complete the daily maintenance schedule
  • Utilize hand tools and electric/pneumatic power tools
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment
  • Read electrical schematics and diagnose electrical/mechanical failures
  • Set up new equipment lines and changeovers
  • Train production and maintenance personnel
  • Work with minimal supervision and meet project deadlines
  • Work on electrical systems up to 480 VAC
  • Apply strong knowledge of motor control circuits, automated valves, and process controls
  • Ensure all processes and procedures are followed
  • Follow parts checkout procedure
  • Comply with all GMP standards
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
