About The Position

Oversee all maintenance repairs/ensure accuracy and long term results in a cost efficient manner Monitor equipment and machinery to determine routine maintenance schedule and promote preventive maintenance programs. Establish or maintain preventative maintenance program for each piece of material handling and processing equipment Determine appropriate levels of spare parts Assist in the installation of new equipment and education of maintenance employees in the operation of such equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components, using test equipment and hand tools. Responsible for the connection of wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Calculate, lay-out/draw, balance and align equipment. Perform rigging activities, safety-related functions and other miscellaneous maintenance functions. Utilize or fabricate all types of mechanical parts (fitting, valves, etc.) needed from cold rolled steel, stainless steel, steel plate, structural steel members and other metals. Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at the country, state and federal levels. Completing preventative maintenance routines, documentation and procedures. Support the safety and quality programs by following all accompanying rules and established processes. Support continuous improvement. Promoting and conduct good housekeeping practices. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of electrician/maintenance mechanic
  • Microsoft Products proficient
  • ERP system experience
  • Able to work in a high paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to lift 20-50 lbs. repetitively throughout the course of a shift.
  • Ability to bend, sit, stand, climb, twist and stoop for long periods of time.
  • Ability to walk 2-5 miles throughout the course of a shift.
  • Have good vision of 20/30 with corrective lenses.
  • Ability to maintain coordination of hand and finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects with precision.
  • Subject to environmental conditions that occur indoors and outdoors which includes but is not limited to exposure to changing temperatures, loud noises and vibration from use of equipment and the following:
  • Hazards: Variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
  • Atmospheric conditions: One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin- fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases or poor ventilation.
  • Oils: There is air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
