About The Position

Maintenance Supervisor Monroe Group is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team! Summary: Our Maintenance Supervisors oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations. They ensure that the asset is maintained, and they motivate and ensure the maintenance team is positive and successful. Specific responsibilities include: Directing & supervising the maintenance team in regard to performance, job duties, and scheduling Portray excellent customer service while working with residents Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various issues including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, sheetrock, etc. Monitor and replenish maintenance inventory based on property needs, while staying within budget Complete ongoing property and unit inspections as needed, in addition to documenting updates and areas for improvement Coordinate with various vendors as needed in regard to outsourced work at the property Ensure that maintenance teams deliver Safe, Decent, and Sanitary Housing to all our residents Where is the job located? Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent (College Degree is preferred)
  • Minimum of three years as a Lead Maintenance Tech
  • Working Knowledge of Onsite or Yardi Software
  • English language proficiency (read, speak, and write)
  • The ability to pass a full background check
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle required
  • Must be available for after-hour calls including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Employment with Monroe Group is contingent upon the successful completion of background check

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in apartment maintenance
  • Participation in UPCS/REAC Inspections
  • Experience with resident-occupied project renovations

Responsibilities
