About The Position

Join Our Team as a full time Maintenance Supervisor with Richman Property Services, Inc. in Norwalk, CT! Are you a community-inspired, passion-driven individual with a can-do attitude? Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing Richman Maintenance Team! Position: Maintenance Supervisor Location: The Maintenance Supervisor will support our brand new property Wall Street Place (150 units), as well as our existing affordable residential community, River Commons (34-units), totaling 184 units, the sites are very close to each other in downtown Norwalk. What we are looking for: Candidates with 4 or more years of experience managing Maintenance Operations (and teams) in a multi-family residential community EPA I & II or EPA Universal is required for this position along with a valid Driver's License Experience with new construction, rehab management, Lease-Up....etc. Experience or familiarity with Yardi property management software systems, experience managing affordable residential communities maintenance What we Offer: Competitive base hourly pay, automatic quarterly pay increases following initial 90-days of service, monthly personal cell phone allowance paid, eligible for annual discretionary bonus! Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade/technical school or industry-related courses preferred
  • Minimum four (4+) years maintenance experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Superintendent, or Maintenance Technician II
  • Experience managing maintenance operations in apartment communities
  • EPA Section 608 Type I and II or EPA Universal Technician license
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Yardi software products a plus
  • CAMT and CPO certifications may be required within the first six (6) months of employment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily repair and upkeep of the property
  • Manage the preparation of vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
  • Manage service requests and response times, ensuring completion within established deadlines
  • Assist in maintaining curb appeal and general cleanliness of buildings and grounds
  • Interview, screen, and recommend candidates for maintenance technician or grounds personnel positions
  • Execute subsequent training of maintenance or grounds personnel
  • Manage scheduling and direct supervision of all in-house and/or vendor work
  • Maintain supply and tool inventory; oversee ordering and delivery of necessary supplies and equipment
  • Assist in disciplinary or promotional recommendations for maintenance and grounds personnel
  • Ensure OSHA standards are met at all times and maintain a safe work environment
  • Maintain logs and records; report unusual circumstances regarding the property
  • Uphold and demonstrate exceptional customer service; seek educational opportunities for personal growth
