We are hiring for a Maintenance Technician to help maintain the equipment that produces our delicious Celeste Pizza products at our Jackson, TN manufacturing facility. You will report to a Maintenance Supervisor and join a team of about 60. #LI-onsite Hours are Monday-Thurday 4:00am-4:30pm A Day in the Life of a Maintenance Tech III: You will maintain, operate, and repair machinery equipment in Pizza Bakery. You will train on the job to improve your skills and ability of maintenance job tasks and practices specific to Dividers, Proffers, Presses and ovens.
Requirements
- High School diploma or General Education degree (GED) required
Nice To Haves
- Technical Certification or Degree in maintenance-related field preferred or experience in lieu
Responsibilities
- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment for functionality and efficiency, including adjacent equipment and the interactions between all equipment
- Detect problems with machinery while operating equipment and during PMs scheduled and follow the correct path to address those issues and ensure equipment uptime
- Maintain all qualifying classes needed for job. (MEWP, Confined Space and others)
- Maintain Certified Forklift Operator Status
- Display knowledge of in depth mechanical and electrical systems
- Display fabrication skills and techniques as requested
- Apply problem-solving techniques to determine root cause and correct base or underlying problems
- You will be required to use SAP to retrieve work orders
- You will use company supplied computers to keep up with emails, requests and needs
