Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant maintenance, manufacturing, or technical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of maintenance systems, standards, and practices.
  • Basic understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and safety regulations.
  • Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and precedents.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience assisting with equipment calibration or metrology activities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a regulated, team‑based environment.
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on manufacturing and line equipment.
  • Under supervision of senior technicians, locate and diagnose equipment failures, replace defective components, and perform basic troubleshooting using standard electronic test equipment.
  • Utilize drawings, diagrams, schematics, manuals, specifications, and written or verbal instructions to complete work.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair logs in accordance with established procedures.
  • Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and test equipment safely and effectively.
  • Perform routine general maintenance tasks as assigned, which may include work on utility equipment, HVAC systems, Water for Injection (WFI), product storage systems, welding, fabrication, construction, and installations.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities on critical systems and equipment with supervisors.
  • Assist with or perform calibration activities per Metrology procedures, as designated by the supervisor.
  • May be responsible for calibrations of temperature, pressure, differential room pressure, chart recorders, freezers/refrigerators, incubators, and HVAC systems.
  • Comply with all safety policies, cGMP requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Recognize and escalate deviations from accepted practices.
  • Perform multi‑shift work as required.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance notifications via phone, as needed.
