About The Position

SUMMARY: Primary focus is on supporting Bayport manufacturing facility and Edge Andersen Equipment Solutions internal machine build group. This position will be responsible for preparing & machining parts from various materials with CNC controlled mills and lathes.

Requirements

• 2 - year technical degree in CNC Machining.
• 3D Cad modeling software understanding
• Proficient at print reading and tolerance interpretation.
• Mastercam software experience
• Strong understanding of metrology and how it applies to machining.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong computer skills in required. Including but not limited to the following: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

• Machine design experience
• Machine build experience

Responsibilities

• Fabricate machine parts and weldments leveraging Mastercam Software
• Cut and prep. various materials for Machining
• Machine parts on manual mills and lathes as required
• Prioritize work to meet customer deadlines
• Participate in design reviews with Machine Designers and peers in the shop
• Strong focus on customer service
• Understand safety rules and procedures to safely perform all tasks
• Know and practice respectful workplace behavior
• Support a culture of best practice on 5S and overall shop safety
