Take a look at the details below for the position. General Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of community facilities and grounds. Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other systems as needed. Address resident requests for maintenance promptly and efficiently. Preventive Maintenance: Implement scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of equipment and facilities. Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance activities. Emergency Response: Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to emergency maintenance issues outside of regular working hours. Assess and resolve urgent maintenance problems to ensure the safety and well-being of residents. Collaboration: Coordinate with other members of the maintenance team to prioritize and execute tasks. Collaborate with various departments to address specific maintenance needs. Documentation: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections. Report any significant findings or concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure living environment for residents. Stay updated on industry best practices and safety standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician II or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items, climb ladders, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
