The role is responsible for repairing and maintaining any equipment or processes in the facility. This position works: Monday-Friday 6am- 2 pm

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4-5 years of experience in the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of complex equipment (Electromechanical and CNC-type equipment).
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret both American and European electrical and electronic diagramming and schematics.
  • PLC programming a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous lab experience is preferred.
  • Ability to learn how to operate and maintain lab machinery and equipment.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Must be able to accurately transcribe words and numbers.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Achieve and maintain the highest level of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all preventative and reactive maintenance on lab equipment and building, including complex electronic and mechanical equipment.
  • Maintains all maintenance-related software programs such as PM logs, material acquisition logs, etc.
  • Secures machine parts at the lowest cost.
  • Communicates with various Help Desks (foreign and domestic) to fix various machines.
  • Fabricates systems and machines to make production easier and of better quality.
  • Trains new Maintenance associates and Production associates according to direction from the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Communicates and interfaces with Production associates and Production leadership to optimize the interaction between departments.
  • Follows all safety rules and protocols rigorously.
