About The Position

Position Overview The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing a wide range of general maintenance and repair activities to support the safe, efficient, and professional operation of commercial facilities. This role requires hands-on technical expertise across interior and exterior building systems, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Proven general maintenance experience; commercial building experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with common hand and power tools used in maintenance and repair work.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
  • Basic computer proficiency to navigate internal systems and tools.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to read and interpret building blueprints is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repair work in commercial buildings, including both interior and exterior systems.
  • Complete repairs and installations involving drywall, painting, flooring, cabinetry, and suspended ceilings.
  • Perform plumbing-related tasks such as piping repairs, fixture installation and repair, and drain snaking.
  • Adjust and repair interior and exterior doors.
  • Hang fixtures, equipment, and other items on walls in accordance with safety and building standards.
  • Safely and effectively operate a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Use basic computer systems to receive assignments, document work, and communicate updates.
  • Participate in a 24/7 after-hours on-call rotation as required.
  • Travel to multiple job sites using a personal vehicle to complete daily assignments.
  • Represent the company professionally while delivering high-quality customer service.
