Maintain and service plant operating equipment, HVAC, electrical, and in-plant general necessities. Other duties may be assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receives and carries out instructions for jobs from area supervisor or leadman Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment, and facility/building issues Knowledge of 110v, 240v, and 480v systems and low voltage controls Able to read and understand schematics Ability to program and service PLC’s, plus read and understand ladder logic Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems Working knowledge of hydraulic systems Working knowledge of pneumatic systems Working knowledge and proper use of all hand tools Ability to weld and fabricate items with mig and arc welding Working knowledge and use of all meters and gauges needed to perform all duties Ability to work with minimal supervision Follow and or assist in development of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Programs Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules Follow all safety procedures and report any hazards immediately Maintains a clean and orderly work area Meet or exceed maintenance standards Must be able to work scheduled shift as well as overtime & weekends as required Must be able to work as a member of the team Other duties as assigned Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
