Employee Assistance Program Requirements Working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and pneumatics is required with a minimum of 3 years experience as a maintenance technician in manufacturing setting, preferably working around metal sheet processing equipment. Working knowledge of programmable logic controllers is desired. Experience in Lean Manufacturing principles a plus. Respectful written and verbal communication. A proactive and action-oriented nature, relative to not just being reactive to emergencies but continuously refining preventative and predictive maintenance programs. Excellent analytical skills – logical and systematic approach. Ability to handle multiple tasks and adjust priorities by impact with minimal oversight. Complex Problem Solving skills — Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Judgment and Decision Making skills — Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. Demonstrated high level of enthusiasm, perseverance and success building cross-functional teams. “Can do” attitude to get machinery fixed in timely manner to minimize machine downtimes.
