This role involves conducting routine maintenance, repairs, including light plumbing and electrical work. In addition to general building repairs, you will also assist with office maintenance tasks, such as mounting TVs, changing light bulbs, relocating furniture, and other related activities. Requirements

  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Knowledge of mechanical repair.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Prolonged periods standing and walking.
  • Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into spaces.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
  • Strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
  • Ability to read manuals, blueprints and follow instructions
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Related experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular checks, lubrication, cleaning, and part replacements for machinery and building systems.
  • Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
  • Diagnose issues and fix problems in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems using diagnostic tools.
  • Handle minor repairs like light bulbs, ceiling tiles, doors, locks, and sometimes painting or landscaping.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, labor hours, and materials used.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Communicate with managers for major issues or supplies.
  • Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders.
