In this role you will maintain and repair equipment, facilities, and utility systems. You will help keep the entire site running by completing corrective and preventive maintenance work orders. You will work independently on project management and repair tasks. You will also participate in the call-in program to be available for weekend and holiday on-call and after-hours duty. You will also perform work related travel as necessary. Expert at troubleshooting, installing, and repairing facility equipment, including boilers, chillers, HVAC, air handling systems, and EHS-related equipment. Proficient in maintaining electrical power circuits, VFDs, analytical instrumentation, and complex control systems. Skilled in operating various Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs) like forklifts and scissor lifts, as well as hand, power, and precision shop tools. Ability to read and redline all types of drawings/schematics while maintaining strict adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Committed to following all safety regulations, identifying hazards, and strictly following work instructions and procedures. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to direct contractors and technicians to complete tasks efficiently. Competent in using CMMS software and standard PC applications (Excel, Word, Email) to manage workflows and meet deadlines. Self-motivated problem solver dedicated to 6-S lean principles, generating process improvements, and maintaining an exemplary attendance record.
