About The Position

This position performs skilled journey-level work in the construction, maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic equipment, apparatus and fixtures used within an Aerospace/Industrial manufacturing site Installs, troubleshoots and repairs new equipment and systems, including all manufacturing/assembly equipment CNC mills, lathes, or multi axis machinery. Mechanical troubleshooting ability, including diagnosing issues with spindles, tooling, lubrication systems, and mechanical assemblies Proficiency with PLC systems, CNC control platforms (e.g., Mitsubishi, FANUC, Haas), and maintenance software. Knowledge of control calibration, servo tuning, and parameter adjustments. Maintains electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at the county, state and federal levels Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains electrical distribution systems including electric motors, electric controls, fire alarms, programmable lighting controls and clock systems Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including reading schematics and working with servos, amplifiers, controls, and drive systems and adherence to National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements Perform work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures Safely maintain and utilize powered industrial trucks (including forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks) Comply with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment in a safe and competent manner. Understand and meet all departmental safety objectives and goals. Keep assigned work-area clean, organized, and orderly per 5S standards. Experience in managing a cloud-based Preventative Maintenance System Must be able to work flexible hours (including weekends) High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution CNC Maintenance Certification (e.g., Mitsubishi Electric, NIMS) (or equivalent work experience) Minimum of 2 years of Hands on experience maintaining or repairing CNC mills, lathes, or multi axis machinery. Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability, including diagnosing issues with spindles, tooling, lubrication systems, and mechanical assemblies Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including reading schematics and working with servos, amplifiers, controls, and drive systems. Ability to inspect, adjust, and calibrate CNC machine components to ensure optimal performance. Ensures site fire alarms and emergency electrical systems are operational; perform certification testing on alarm systems Maintains electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at the county, state and federal levels' Monitors work done by outside contractors for adherence to National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements and reports back to Supervisor Demonstrate safe and proficient use of shop tools (both hand and power) Perform work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, programmable lighting controls and fixtures Comply with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment in a safe and competent manner. Understand and meet all departmental safety objectives and goals. Keep assigned work-area clean, organized, and orderly per 5S standards. Performs other work-related duties as assigned (plumbing / general facility repairs) Knowledge of multi-axis machinery & CNC mills and lathes Knowledge of Pressure Testing operations Maintenance & Troubleshooting Proficient in preventative maintenance database management Proficient in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system Assists in the writing of specifications for repairs and new construction Perform rigging activities, safety-related functions and other miscellaneous electrical functions Safely utilize a forklift and high lift Assists in the writing of specifications for repairs and new construction

Requirements

  • Must be able to work flexible hours (including weekends)
