Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
  • 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Heat treat furnace experience required
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  • Experience with CMMS or similar maintenance tracking systems
  • Solid understanding of safety standards, including lockout/tagout procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in industrial environments
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and on-call shifts
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Willingness to stay current with emerging maintenance technologies and industry best practices

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in industrial maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems (OSHA, EPA, or similar)
  • Experience with PLCs, BAS, or industrial control systems
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or large-scale industrial maintenance

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and furnace systems, including HVAC systems, motors, pumps, compressors, and heat treat furnaces
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment and machinery to ensure minimal operational downtime
  • Assist in installation, calibration, and testing of new equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs using CMMS
  • Collaborate with senior technicians to resolve complex maintenance issues and improve processes
  • Replace worn or damaged parts, such as belts, bearings, seals, valves, and electrical components
  • Support emergency repairs, ensuring safety protocols are followed
  • Contribute to preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Maintain inventory of tools and parts for efficient workflow
  • Provide guidance and support to junior technicians when needed
