About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support manufacturing operations by performing advanced mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment. This senior-level technician will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, process efficiency, and high-quality production through predictive and preventative maintenance programs. In this role, you will troubleshoot equipment issues, complete preventive maintenance tasks, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that support safe and efficient plant operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with CMMS systems and basic computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and precision measuring devices
  • Familiarity with shop tools such as drill press, band saw, and portable power tools
  • Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior technicians

Nice To Haves

  • 2-year technical degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and production machinery
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment malfunctions
  • Install and align mechanical drive systems and replace failed components
  • Test electrical systems using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters
  • Maintain equipment lubrication and ensure machinery operates within specifications
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals
  • Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records in CMMS systems
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability
  • Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on proper maintenance practices
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintenance metrics
  • Maintain high standards of equipment quality and reliability
  • Participate in annual maintenance skills assessments and training programs
  • Follow all plant safety procedures and environmental guidelines
  • Report safety concerns, incidents, or hazards immediately
