About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Maintenance Technician II- 3rd Shift to join our team located in Greenville, PA. The Maintenance Technician will ensure robust operation of equipment through preventative maintenance and continuous improvement. Shift hours: Monday to Friday; 10:00pm to 6:30am Hourly Rate: $25-$38/hr. commensurate with experience + 20% shift differential w/ possible increase after 90 Day Performance Review. We Offer You! Assisting in the implementation of new equipment and equipment improvements. Performing thorough work and follow-through on the repairs through feedback from internal customers. Communicate with other maintenance personnel and line workers to solve equipment issues and perform sustainable solutions. Must be able to diagnose failed components and safely work on voltages up to 480V. Must know how to properly use a digital voltmeter (DVM). Continually coordinate equipment updates, and operational issues with off shift maintenance personnel and other team members as needed. knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), drives, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and other electrical components. Attend outside training and seminars for continual education. Your Credentials: 2-3 years of maintenance experience Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), drives, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and other electrical components experience preferred. Requirements

  • 2-3 years of maintenance experience

  • Ability to pass Electrical fundamentals
