About The Position

Gassen Construction and Maintenance is a successful construction company serving one of the largest HOA management companies in Minnesota. We specialize in exterior construction and building services for residential communities. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will perform a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks for HOA-managed communities. This role requires a well-rounded skill set, professionalism, and the ability to provide quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with drywall repairs, finish carpentry, siding repair, and other general construction tasks.

Requirements

Proven experience in drywall repair, finish carpentry, and general building maintenance.
Knowledge of siding repair (vinyl and wood).
Basic electrical troubleshooting skills preferred.
Ability to work safely at heights using standard construction ladders.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform professional drywall repair, patching, and finishing.
Execute finish carpentry and general carpentry repairs.
Complete siding repairs (vinyl and wood).
Troubleshoot and complete minor electrical repairs.
Assist with other exterior construction or maintenance tasks as assigned.
Safely operate ladders reaching 2+ stories when required.
Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Participate in an on-call rotation with other technicians (additional pay provided).
