As one of the fastest growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we’re looking for an experienced MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – SECOND SHIFT.    You will be responsible for the following:

Requirements

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Three (3) + years of manufacturing maintenance experience; strong PLC, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical/electronic and industrial skills with some HVAC
  • Able to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling/ mobile equipment in performing duties.
  • Computer skills preferably with Microsoft Office Suites, Outlook and RFID scanning equipment.
  • Ability to take initiative to identify potential problems and solutions.
  • Must have a high level of motivation and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Hour Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
  • Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Perform a variety of plumbing, maintenance, and carpentry functions.
  • Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, electronics, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Must have strong organizational skills to accurately complete and file required reports and documents and excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Understand federal, state and local codes and regulations.
  • Ability to perform work independently.
  • Mechatronics and/or electronics background is necessary.
