Human by nature.Job purpose Perform routine and more complex repairs, preventive maintenance and installation of equipment with minimal supervision and promptly to minimize disruptions of site operations. You will report to the Maintenance Manager. Workplace: Mt. Olive, New Jersey. 2nd shift Salary Range Based on Experience: $60,000 - $85,000

Requirements

  • Technical engineering diploma or related discipline (pre-university level).
  • Certification required in forklift operation and in at least one of the following: pipe fitting, welding, or pump, PLC, electrical, robotics or equipment repair.
  • At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or plant operations (experience in matrix organization preferred).
  • Knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP and Excel tools.
  • Safely use hand tools and equipment for installation, disassembly and testing of electronic,pneumatic and electrical devices.
  • Good mechanical and electrical abilities within e.g. welding, plumbing, pipe fitting or electrical areas.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and advanced troubleshooting and repairs of production and facility equipment, identifying recurring maintenance issues in the assigned area of activity.
  • Conduct electrical or mechanical installation, repair, and troubleshooting of motors, instrumentation and controls.
  • Identify deviations and document/communicate them in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Monitor contractors on small maintenance projects.
  • Work following all relevant requirements including ATEX, GMP, AIB, OSHA,HACCP, FDA, USDA and internal safety guidelines.
  • Participate in lean activities.
  • Maintain level of housekeeping/sanitation/food safety and safety which meets our standards and guidelines.
  • Perform administrative responsibilities including but not limited to creating and closing work requests using Maintenance management system (SAP).
  • May assist the Maintenance Lead and Supervisor in delivering technical training for the staff and following up on work orders.
  • May perform other tasks as assigned.
